Lived in West Derby Liverpool as boy. Aged 11 when his Father died in accident. (Possibly at Lord Derby Knowsley Gas works??)Became apprentice at Vellow forge with his two Uncles.Took over Vellow forge from William and John. Sold business in 1919 and set up Garage at Washford. Father of Francis who did majority of Family history research.
