Violet Victoria BOLINGBROKE born 28-Mar-1897 Born and bred in Hastings. Parents died before she was 10yrs old (?) so was brought up by her aunts Maud & Petty PACKHAM. Believed to have been a boarder at the Convent of Zion, Ladbroke Grove, London (Near Kensall Rise). Address at marriage was 40 Robertson Street, Hastings. Was an actress when she married Robert Bryan CULBERTSON. Had 2 children, John Murray & Heather. Latterly lived at Peace Close, West Horrington, Near Wells, Somerset. She fell down a flight of stairs in a restaurant in Wells and suffered brain damage. She and her husband moved to the White House Hotel, Rake. Robert died at Royal Treloar Hospital, Alton, Hants of cancer. Violet then moved to a nursing home in Haslemere, Surrey where she died. Both are buried at Haslemere parish church yard.

Violet married Robert Bryan CULBERTSON, son of John CULBERTSON and Florence SCHUTZ, on 29 Oct 1921 in Hollington, Sussex. (Robert Bryan CULBERTSON was born on 17 Jul 1889 in St Mary Cray, Orpington, Kent, died on 16 Jan 1971 in Treloare Hospital, Alton, Hampshire and was buried in Weycombe Road Cemetery, Haslemere.)
