John Murray CULBERTSON Born 13-Jun-1922 Wanstead, Essex. Went to Windlesham House Preparatory School & then on to St Edwards Public School, Oxford. Played in the 1st XV rugby team & rowed in the 2nd VIII. Left school and joined the Royal Navy. Trained as a pilot in Canada and flew in the Korean war, where he was injured in the leg. (All flight logs retained). After leaving the Navy joined Meon Travel Agency at Petersfield, Hants where he looked after the villa side of the business. Made redundant and retired fully.
