The 1841 Census shows a household which could be the same John Harvey who signed Emma Harvey's marriage record as father of the bride. The age shown for Agnes does not match her known birth year of 1822, but that may be because all ages in this census return seem to have been rounded to the nearest 5.
Agnes is shown here as 15, but she would have been 17 or 18.

• Occupation: Gentleman.

• Residence: Wandsworth Road, Rush Hill, Battersea. Rush Hill was an area with a few large houses, on the south side of that stretch of the Wandsworth Road which is now Lavender Hill. The parish church is St Mary's, an historic church which still (in 2005) stands on the riverside.
The Rush Hill area is now (2005)occupied by Rush Hill Road and Rush Hill Mews, plus an old bus depot, now converted to a small business centre.
