The vicar was an H Weston Wright and the witnesses were Frederick Wilkinson and Charlotte Anne Hall - his sister. On the marriage certificate Harry Brodie is recorded as being a chef and living at 25, High Petergate, York which is listed in the Kelly's directory of 1913 as being a boarding house owned by a Jo Hodkinson and which was next door to Charles Youngs "Temperance" hotel (where Harry was a chef), which was and still is Young's Hotel, the birthplace of "Guy Fawkes". |
